A way to independently trigger the camera and/or flash has been requested more than a few times. I finally relented and added it 🙂
The Trigger Test can be used to trigger any of the trigger ports; Camera, Flash, and AUX. Ideal for double checking things are setup and ready or can be used to wake up a camera or flash.
To use, double click the trigger label
The trigger uses the trigger settings as defined in the Settings.
– If you have set the trigger pulse duration to 100ms, then the trigger will be active for 100ms.
– If Focus Trigger is turned OFF then the Focus trigger will not be used.
– If the Focus in ON then the Focus Trigger signal will be active.
The trigger test function was added in firmware DC4_mk_II_031R and firmware DC4_0624R
